little girl

The post that I’m going to write is dedicated to a brave little girl, her beloved mother and her family.

Few days back, there’s a huge picture printed on the front page of the newspaper. A 7 years old disabled child named Ooi Zhao Qian.

A little girl who was born with no arms, as well as having deformities in both legs, spinal cord and the general bone structure. Things that grasped my attention are the endless LOVE shown from her mother and family.

Having a child is not as simple as what most people would have thought. There are a lot of things to plan, to arrange and to carry out. It is not an easy task to have a child or children. And it will definitely be tougher to have a disabled child, whether physically or mentally disabled.

When the baby is young, a mother needs to take good care of her, making sure that her precious baby will be able to live on, day by day.

When the baby becomes a toddler, a mother has to explain why is she different from others.

When her baby goes to school for the first time, a mother has to stand by her side whenever the child got teased or bullied by other normal kids.

When her baby becomes an adult, a mother has to worry whether her baby will be able to find a life partner or even a job.

Some mothers may need to take good care of their disabled children until their children pass away at an old age.

I personally think that this little girl’s mother is very brave and strong hearted . Well, I believe all mothers will do the same thing. I suppose.

She was only 2 years old when her mother started to train her in using her own legs for daily activities. Now, with only 4 toes on her right foot, this little girl is able to write, sweep the floor, use telephone, surf the web and so on.

When she was 5 years old, the little girl’s uncle made her a special table and a wheel chair, which can be controlled using her own legs.

Recently, her aunt made a special school uniform.

I have been thinking, if this little girl wasn’t born in this family. What will happen to her?

Will her mother abandon her?

Will she cry everyday hoping someone to love her?

Will she blame herself for her imperfections?

Will she blame anyone?

In Malaysia, parents have been trying so hard to raise their children to become someone outstanding. To make them competitive, smart, and so forth. Therefore, parents send their children to all kinds of tuition classes, music classes, drawing classes, dancing classes and many more.

Parents love to compare their children with other people’s children. They will scold their children for not being clever enough, not sporty enough, too naughty blah blah blah.

Did they ever realize how fortunate they are to have a healthy child?

It is the parents’ responsibility to take good care of a child.

You are the one who decides to bring your baby to this world, so please do love and cherish your baby.

Accept who he or she is, and shower them with love.

why?why? mandarin

i have been complaining to ry saying why the 2 companies asked me for interview just because i am able to speak and write in mandarin. i told him that it will be pretty hard for me to change job next time. I'll be consistently or even lifetime dealing with the mandarin speaking countries. examples, taiwan, china..

there is nothing wrong to do things in mandarin. the problem is, no matter what kind of companies, those mandarin priority division is always the busiest and definitely will work like a dog . for example, last time i worked for the Taiwan department and handle opening accounts and mortgages. while the team next to taiwan team is the Australia team. so 1 morning, i got 60+ cases to be done..pretty standard volume.. and i overheard the australia team saying.. O.. "today got 6 cases only.."

wtf..

60 : 6

do you know how badly i wish that i could be in australia team. so that i can go back home on time, instead of doing OT until 9 or 10pm everyday..

o.. i still remember my colleague was so emo and she cried and do her work at the same time.. because it feels like there are so many things to do and you can't postpone it to tomorrow.

why? i know english also.. why cannot put me under other division? so that i can go back maybe 7pm or 8pm.. hell.. if i got the job, there will be no life..

then ry asked me to pretend to be banana.(chinese who don't know mandarin).. no offence.. then i did stupid things.. i use my apple green colour bed sheet and covers half of my body.. i asked ry to look at me and i said..

"i'm a raw banana.. that's why i'm green in colour!!"

stupid mistake

People have the tendency to make mistake..

In my case, I just made a silly, idiotic and intolerable mistake. Let’s just blame that I was really really in rush and my brain cells are not working accordingly.

Well, I tried to fix the problem. So let’s just hope that my opportunity won’t fly away due to my silly mistake. Pray that she could at least try to change the thing for me.

p/s: I saw Paul moss today, and I was running at that time..

pp/s: damn, this laptop got problem again!!! LCD is blinking again!!! Damn Toshiba, do you know how to fix it actually?

Met up with Jane for two days..

Jane who always busy with her lab research.

We had Dim Sum in the early morning. I told her that I feel so old because there are old people around us. And I couldn’t see anyone similar to our age.

Well, but I can see 2 china ladies with 2 local men having their breakfast. So I was thinking, did those guys ever go back home?

The next day, we had sushi kin and watch Sherlock Holmes..

-the end-

T__T
