Well. Went out today just to watch this movie.. since it’s a Singapore’s movie and directed by Jack Neo, so most of the time the dialogue used was in hokkien. Im a bak chi in hokkien!!!.
This movie had successfully made me cry for few times in the cinema. I am now in a depressed mood... keep thinking of that movie…especially that mother acted by 黎明, damn so touching and real. Especially at the part where she don wana stay at old folk’s home, keep on saying that she wana go back home!! Also, at the part where she sacrifices herself for her grand daughter… so saddening.. ahhh!!! I can’t take it…
Life can be so cruel and meaningless, especially to those people who are poor, sick and old...
